Booking & Appointments
Can we get married the same day?
Absolutely! We specialize in same-day marriage services in Los Angeles, allowing you to obtain your marriage license, have your civil wedding ceremony, and file all paperwork in a single visit—typically in under one hour. If you would like to schedule an appointment for today, please call us at 626-284-8281. Alternatively, you may choose a date and time that works best for you by scheduling online here.
Are you open on weekends, Sundays, or holidays?
Yes, we are open seven days a week, including holidays. Please note that a $50 surcharge applies for weekend or holiday appointments. You may book online or contact us directly for availability.
Do we need an appointment, or can we walk in?
While walk-ins are welcome if space is available, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure that someone is ready to assist you upon arrival and your experience is seamless. If you would like to come in today to get married, please give us a call.
Where are you located?
Our office is located on the second floor at 205 S Chapel Ave, Suite C4, Alhambra, CA 91801. We offer a beautifully decorated indoor ceremony room, as well as an outdoor arch on the ground level for weekend ceremonies. The outdoor arch is especially suitable for guests with mobility limitations—please call ahead to reserve this option.
Marriage License & Legal Paperwork
Do you issue marriage licenses?
Yes! We issue Confidential California Marriage Licenses right here at our office as well as conducting civil ceremonies, saving you a trip to the county clerk’s office and streamlining the process.
What’s the difference between confidential vs. public licenses?
Both license types provide the same legal benefits and can be used for taxes, immigration, insurance, and other official purposes. The difference lies in privacy and witness requirements:
- Confidential License: No witnesses required, not part of the public record, requires a statement that you live together (no proof needed).
- Public License: Requires 1–2 witnesses, becomes part of the public record, no residency requirement.
Can we get just a license without a ceremony?
Yes! License-only appointments are available for couples planning to marry elsewhere. Licenses are valid for three months from the date we received it from the county, and can be used anywhere in California. Please call in advance to ensure we have licenses that align with your intended wedding date.
If you would like to be legally registered and married in the same appointment, a simple ceremony (which can include just the couple) is required to sign off on and submit your completed paperwork. We can complete the ceremony and order the certified copy for you as part of our $350 package.
Can we use the marriage certificate for a green card?
Yes! The temporary customer copy you receive on your wedding day is sufficient to begin your green card application. The Certified Copy will arrive from the Los Angeles County Marriage Department in 6–8 weeks. Our office also provides immigration consulting services—for questions, please call Linda at 626-284-8281.
Please note: Linda Young is a registered immigration consultant, but she is not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice.
Ceremony Details
How many guests can attend?
The packages at our location include up to 13 guests plus the couple. Additional guests are $20 each. For mobile or offsite weddings, we have no set limit—but please check with the location regarding any necessary permits and guidelines.
Can it be just the couple, no guests?
Yes! We issue Confidential Marriage Licenses which do not require witnesses, so it can be just the two of you coming in to be legally married. However, if you have a Public Marriage License from the county, at least one witness is required. If needed, we can usually provide a witness for $20—please call in advance to confirm availability.
Are rings required?
Rings are not required to be legally married. However, if you have rings, you are welcome to bring them, and we will gladly include a ring exchange in your ceremony.
Is your ceremony religious or non-religious?
By default, we perform non-religious civil ceremonies. However, we are happy to include religious or personal readings if requested in advance. You are welcome to prepare something for us to read aloud during your ceremony, helping to make the moment truly personalized and meaningful.
Language & Accessibility
Can we have a Spanish ceremony?
Absolutely! We would be happy to officiate your ceremony in Spanish. Please give us a call to confirm the availability of a Spanish-speaking officiant.
Is your office wheelchair accessible?
Our office is located on the second floor, but unfortuately our office does not have an elevator. In these cases, we are happy to hold your ceremony outside on the ground level. Please call ahead if you would like us to prepare our outdoor arch, which is available on weekends by request only.
Can we bring our dog?
While our building does not allow pets indoors, your dog is welcome to attend an outdoor ceremony. Please book a weekend appointment and notify us in advance so that we can prepare the arch for you.
Are there facilities to change clothes?
Yes, we have a single bathroom available for changing, though most couples arrive dressed and ready for their ceremony.
